Despite the controversy surrounding Metis identity and our right to self identify, we are the descendants of First Nation People. As such, we have begun the repatriation process to regain a place in Canada lost in the Colonial process.
Our development includes, cultural, economic and social awareness as it applies to modern society. A further mandate envisions ways of unifying all indigenous people. We especially support social aid where it is needed and ascribe to a policy of a hand up rather than a hand out!
